How Infrared Can Save You Money!

Heating your home with a convection heater- that is to say the method of heating your boiler uses- is a deeply inefficient process. We’re used to it, because most homes are built around it, but things could be better!

IR Heating uses a method known as radiant heating by emitting infrared radiation into the room. This radiation is absorbed by the bodies and objects it hits, warming them up. These objects will then share their heat with other objects, resulting in a very even spread of heat very quickly!

Because they use electricity, it’s a much simpler matter to turn each heater on and off, meaning you can restrict your heating to the rooms you’re actually using, another way of saving energy.

This means your panel has an expected lifespan of around 100,000 hours- or around 30 years or so in practical terms. The only care it’ll need in this time is an occasional wipe down to keep the surface dust free.

This is another way that these heaters can save you money- there’s no expensive servicing required!

Easy Installation

You also don’t need to shell out to get your panel installed. Everything you need is included in the box, except a drill. You don’t need to hire a professional to help unless you want it wired into the mains- otherwise it’s a simple matter that will take no longer than 30-40 minutes.

All you have to do is drill through the holes on the stencil provided, and insert the wall plugs into the holes. Then you insert the screws into those wall plugs. Rest the panel into the screws using the two rear mounting brackets. Then all that’s left is to plug your panel in!

Every NXTGEN panel we stock comes with a remote control, giving you easy access to a load of extra features, all from the comfort of your chair. You can switch the panel on and off, adjust the temperature and even set a schedule for your heater on a 7-day timetable.

The remote features a bright digital screen, so you can see exactly what you’re doing.

This remote can also be paired with multiple heaters. All you have to do is switch the panel on, then hold down the Mode and the C/F buttons on your remote together for 3 seconds. You’ll hear a long beep, confirming you’ve successfully paired them.

You can then switch off the first panel and repeat this process as many times as you’d like.
