From the Baroque and Dutch Golden Age period, The Night Watch is by Rembrandt and was painted in 1642. One of the artist’s most famous creations, it depicts Captain Frans Banning Cocq and his lieutant surrounded by sixteen of their men.
This 995×1195 The Nightwatch NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 1200W from Mirrorstone is a beautiful and regal 995mm x 1195mm x 22mm heater.
Reaching a surface temperature of 75 – 95°C, it is made with a FIR coating and is also protected with an IP rating of 54 for protection against splashes of water.
Heating an area of 17 – 29m², it will require 1200W from your 230V mains and is recommended for mounting on a wall.

Why Should You Switch To IR Heating?
Infrared heating is a very different system to traditional forms.
IR works by emitting rays that will bounce around and hit people or objects. Once hit, the target will absorb some of the heat and then re-emit the rays for this process to continue. This is best described as the same sensation as stepping into the Sun, without the harmful UV rays.
This opposes to standard convectional heating which works in a cycle. It will emit rays of heat that float upwards and then fall when they have cooled down in a circular motion around the space. This only heats the air, rather than objects, and is known to circulate dust.
A big advantage of IR heating is that it costs significantly less to run by converting almost 90% of their electricity into heat, with little wastage, they are highly cost efficient. Also, they will never require much expensive maintenance – if any.

The NXT Gen Of Heating
Abiding with the LOT20 regulations, our NXT Gen panels have 4 new innovative features for increased energy efficiency.
The Automated Temperature Control will turn the panel on and off in order to maintain a chosen temperature. Whereas, the 7-Day Timer can be used to select different on/off times for the weekdays and then for your weekends lie-ins!
Adaptive Start is where it gets really intelligent. You can choose what time the panel will come on and it will wake up early in order to work up to this target for the inputted time. Finally, the Open Window Detection will helpfully turn off the panel whenever a drop in temperature is detected.
Controlling Your Panel
Each of our White, Image and Custom IR Panels are from our NXT Gen range. This means it comes with a built-in thermostat and remote.
Powered by 2 AAA batteries, the 135mm x 56mm x 18mm remote weighs just 86g. The remote has a built-in temperature reader to gauge the level of heat in the room and let you know to an accuracy of ±0.5°C.
All information is displayed on the LCD display screen including the date, target temperature and current temperature. You can control the NXT Gen functions using the 9 self-explanatory buttons!
Connect the remote and the panel by ensuring the green switch is off then, hold down the ‘Mode’ and ‘°C/°F’ buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. You can also do this with multiple panels.
Easy Installation
With no moving parts or tricky steps, our panels can be installed with ultimate ease. You won’t need to call in for professional help and the job can be complete within 30 minutes!
To wall mount, all you will need is a drill. Using the template provided in the box, drill the metal screws into the wall and then simply hang the panel from these using the cross-hair bolt insertion holes on the rear brackets. You can either plug then 3-pin plug in to the mains or chop it off and hardwire the unit.
You may choose to suspend the panel which is easily done when you purchase one of our no-fuss Suspension Kits. Have the panel move with you and place it anywhere with a set of Panel Stands.
