The 595×995 The Nightwatch NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W uses Rembrandt van Rijn’s famous image to create a stunning look for your wall. Infrared heating is efficient, smart, and has lots of advantages over other heaters.
This Mirrorstone IR heater measures 595mm by 995mm, and has a power output of 580W. This lets it to heat an area of around 9-10m2. It measures just 22mm in depth, so can fit extremely flush against your wall, saving you valuable floor space. It comes with an IP54 rating, which means it’s protected against accidental splashes of water. This means it can be installed in the kitchen or even the bathroom!
The heater has a strong FIR Coating surface, which can reach a maximum temperature of around 75-95˚C. This is roughly the same as a traditional radiator, although you’re less likely to burn yourself on an infrared heater. That’s because they can be installed further up on the wall than normal radiators, away from any prying fingers.
What is Infrared Heating?
Infrared heating is a revolutionary new technology that can change the way that you heat your home massively. It’s incredibly eco-friendly, thanks to how it distributes its warmth when compared to traditional radiators. They can actually save you a welcome 60% on your heating bills! An infrared heater works by heating the objects in the room, rather than just the air around the room. It does this by discharging infrared beams, which bounce off of the objects, leaving them warmed.
This means that infrared heating doesn’t form convectional currents. This is where the warmed air rises, cools, and falls again, requiring reheating. This can cause dust circulation, mould growth, and cold spots, all of which can negatively affect your health. Infrared heating, however, can benefit your health.
Infrared heating is completely safe, so there’s no need to worry. It uses the same technology that TV remotes do, although on a larger scale. It’s actually the same type of heat that the sun provides, but IR heaters don’t provide any nasty UV radiation.

NXTGEN Remote Control
With one of our NXT Gen IR Panels, you will get some incredible functionality. They come with a built-in thermostat and remote control, which means they are all compliant with the Lot 20 legislation that was introduced at the start of 2018. This means that these panels can be automatically controlled straight out of the box!
Automated temperature control allows you to set the desired temperature for your room, and let the panel does the work. It turns on and off to make sure that your room stays at the temperature you’re after.
The remote control can be paired with multiple heaters, in order to control them as a group. The remote control is covered by an extensive one-year manufacturer’s warranty.
NXTGEN Features
It has a 7-day time that allows you to set different on/off times for weekdays and weekends.
Where the panel truly works its magic is through the adaptive start and open window detection. Adaptive start means that your panel uses its brain to work out when to switch on to make sure that your room is at your desired temperature at your desired time. This means no more random guesswork for you. The open window detection means that if there’s a sudden temperature drop, like when you open a window, the panel will switch off, to save you energy.

NXTGEN LED Light
With so many fantastic features packed into our NXTGEN range, it can occasionally be tricky to know exactly what your infrared heater is doing at any given moment. At least, it would be, if we hadn’t included something to make your life much easier.
To make it super simple, whenever the panel is on and it’s emanating heat, a small blue LED light will flick into life. When the panel is off – perhaps it’s upholding your current temperature or simply switched off and not operating – the LED will switch off. This helpful feature lets you know when your panel is doing its job and when it’s been told not to, so you can rest assured it is definitely doing what it should be doing.

We provide an amazing two-year warranty with our fantastic infrared panels, in the unlikely event anything goes wrong. You can extend this warranty to five-years for added peace of mind.
We also give you a brilliant 14-day home trial period, in case you wish to return or exchange the item. There is a small 15% restocking fee applicable, however, as this panel would’ve needed to be printed on.
