Be intrigued by this gorgeous image of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. It’s not just a lovely image to go on your wall, however – this is also a fantastic infrared heater. IR heating has lots of different advantages over other types of heaters, including traditional central heating.
The panel measures 595mm by 995mm, and has a power output of 580W. This means it can heat an area that’s approximately 9-10m2. With its 22mm depth, it’ll fit extremely closely against your wall. It has an IP54 rating, which ensures it is protected against splashes of water.
The surface is constructed from strong FIR Coating, which can reach a maximum temperature of approximately 75-95˚C. This is a little hotter than a normal radiator, although it won’t be a problem at all. That’s because it may be fitted higher up on the wall than a traditional radiator, so it’s less likely to be accidentally touched.
What is Infrared Heating?
As a newish technology, this question is quite a popular one for many visitors to our store. It’s a revolutionary heating method that is much more environmentally friendly than outdated heating methods. This means it can cut an incredible 60% off your heating bills! It warms your room completely differently to other heating methods. Instead of heating the air, as standard heaters do, infrared heaters heat the actual objects around the room. They do this by emitting infrared waves, which reflect off the objects, leaving them warmed.
This means that infrared heating doesn’t cause any inefficient convectional currents. This is where the warmed air rises to the ceiling, where it cools, and falls again, needs more heat. This means that infrared heating doesn’t result in any cold spots, mould growth or dust circulation, as a normal radiator does. This makes infrared heating better for your health, too.
Infrared heating is completely harmless. They might sound dangerous, but infrared beams are used by a whole host of different things, such as TV remotes, night-vision goggles, and laser-quest games! They’re one of the safe members of the electromagnetic spectrum. The sun uses the same infrared beams to heat the earth, but infrared heaters don’t produce any harmful UV radiation.

You also have a 7-day timer at your disposal too, which allows you to set different on and off times for the weekdays and weekends.

NXTGEN Features
Automated temperature control allows you to set a target temperature for your room, and the panel will switch on and off on its own to regulate the level of heat.
Where the panel gets really clever though is the adaptive start and open window detection. Switching adaptive start on means your IR Heater will calculate how much time it will take for your room to get to your target temperature for the time you have set, and will switch on early to make up the difference! Open window detection means that your panel will switch off if it detects a sudden drop in temperature, as it is highly inefficient to try to heat a room that is being cooled.
Premium Build
These are Mirrorstone infrared heaters, so you’re assured of the finest quality goods. The attractive matt surface is simple to wipe clean with a damp cloth, and that’s all the upkeep they’ll ever require. There are no moving parts when it comes to an infrared panel, so there’s no regular servicing or maintenance necessary whatsoever. The surface is made from sturdy aluminium too, so you can have confidence in its build.
On the back of the panel is a normal 240v junction box, with a liberal 2 metres of heavy-duty flex and a standard UK mains 3-pin plug.

We also give you a splendid 14-day home trial period, in case you wish to return or exchange it. This is subject to a small 15% restocking fee, as the panel, of course, needs to be printed on.
