Combine high art and high quality technology with the glorious 595×995 Salisbury Cathedral from the Meadows NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W. This amazingly innovative heater uses the classic art to completely disguise it, adding smart, efficient heat without you even realising it’s there.
It measures approximately 595mm by 995mm, and has a power output of 580W. This means that it can heat an area of around 9-10m2. It measures just 22mm in depth, which means it fits very closely against the wall, with very little protrusion. It has an IP54 rating, which protects it against splashes of water.
The surface is constructed from stylish, resilient FIR Coating, which can reach a temperature of between 75 and 95˚C. This is slightly hotter than a standard radiator, but it won’t be an issue. That’s because they can be installed higher up on the wall than normal radiators can, minimising the risk of accidental touches.
How Does IR Heating Work?
Infrared heating is an innovative new way of heating your home that uses much less energy than other methods. This makes it far more energy-efficient when compared to central heating, and you can make some pretty big savings. In fact, you can actually save approximately 60% on your heating bills! It does this by heating your room completely differently to other heaters. It emits infrared beams around your room, which bounce off of the objects, leaving them warmed.
Infrared heaters cost far less to run, but their upkeep is pretty cheap, too. In fact, as infrared heaters are so simple, they have no maintenance whatsoever! They’re not like boilers, so they don’t need any servicing at all. They have no moving parts, so there’s nothing really to go wrong.
Infrared heating is completely safe, despite it sounding a little scary. It just uses a similar technology as TV remotes do, albeit on a larger scale. In fact, infrared heat is just how the sun warms us all on earth – yet, infrared heaters generate no nasty UV radiation!

You can control multiple heaters with one remote if you wish, in order to operate them as a group.
You also have a 7-day timer at your disposal too, which allows you to set different on and off times for the weekdays and weekends.

NXTGEN Features
The automated temperature control allows you to set a target temperature for your room, and the panel will switch on and off on its own to regulate the level of heat.
Where the panel gets really clever though is the adaptive start and open window detection. Switching adaptive start on means your IR Heater will calculate how much time it will take for your room to get to your target temperature for the time you have set, and will switch on early to make up the difference! Open window detection means that your panel will switch off if it detects a sudden drop in temperature, as this is highly inefficient.
Easy Installation
You can have no qualms about installing this panel in your chosen destination, as it’s a completely straightforward procedure. There’s no complicated work needed, as there’s no difficult wiring needed, and definitely no plumbing. You can forget about calling in any professional help, as it’s just a one-person job. We give you a stencil with every heater, which shows you exactly how to drill the holes into the wall.
Once you’ve done that, and put the screws in the wall, you can hang the panel onto them using the rear brackets. After that, all you have to do is plug the heater into your mains supply. It’s a five minute job, and you’ll be enjoying clean, efficient heat.
