This Mirrorstone panel measures 595mm by 995mm, and has a heat power output of 580W. This means that the area it can heat will be around 9-10 m2. It has a depth of just 22mm, meaning it can be installed closely against your wall, without ever looking as cumbersome as a normal radiator does. It has an IP54 rating, meaning it can be installed in the bathroom or kitchen, as it’s protected against any accidental splashes of water.
The panel is constructed from premium-quality FIR Coating materials, which give it a stylish look yet sturdy framework. It reach a surface temperature of approximately 75-95˚C, which is slightly warmer than a traditional radiator. It’ll be a lot harder to burn yourself on it, however, as the heater can be installed higher up the wall than a normal radiator.
What is Infrared Heating?
Infrared heating is an innovative new way of heating your home, office or warehouse. It’s far more energy-efficient than other heating methods, which means two things. It’s better for the environment, and can save you lots of money on your heating bills. In fact, it can actually save around 60%! It does this by heating the objects in your room rather than the air around them, as conventional heaters do. It does this by firing infrared beams around the room, which bounce off of the objects.
Traditional heaters therefore cause convectional currents. This is where the warmed air rises to the ceiling, cools, and falls again, needing more heat. This is both inefficient, and negative for your health. That’s because they can cause dust circulation, mould growth, and cold spots around your room. This is why infrared heating is better for your overall health.
Infrared heating is absolutely 100% safe. It just uses the same technology as your TV remote, albeit on a larger scale. The sun emits infrared waves to heat the earth, except infrared heaters don’t produce any harmful UV radiation as the sun does.

With the automatic temperature control, it’s simple to keep to a target temperature in your room. Just tell the panel what you’d like the temperature to stay at, and the panel will automatically turn on and off to regulate the level of heat. It also comes with a 7-day timer, too, meaning you can have different on/off times for both weekdays and weekends, making those lie-ins extra great.
The remote control is covered by an extensive 12-month warranty too, for peace of mind.
NXTGEN Features
This isn’t it, though – there’s more. With adaptive start, your IR panel does the maths for you in order to warm your room to the target temperature for the time you suggest. So if you want your room to be 23˚C at 7am, it will work out what time it needs to switch on before then in order to ensure your room is warm enough. No more guesswork!
And with the open window detection, your panel will switch off if it detects that the window is open, as trying to heat the room with an open window is extremely inefficient.

NXTGEN LED Light
What does that little blue LED light in the corner of your panel mean? That light is so important help you know exactly what your heater is doing at any given time. With so many unbelievably helpful NXTGEN features, it can be potentially difficult to know just what your heater is doing.
If the light is lit up, then you can have confidence that the heater is warming your room completely and efficiently. If the light is turned off, then the panel is either switched off completely, or it’s maintaining the current temperature of your room, and it has no need to actually be actively trying to heat.
This is another useful feature that the NXTGEN heaters provide to help you keep on top of your heating bills.
