The Andromeda galaxy is a darkish image with a lilac swirl of stars through the centre. IR heating is an efficient way to heat your home that will save you both energy and money.
This Mirrorstone panel measures 595mm by 995mm, and has a power output of 580W. This means that the area it can heat will be around 9-10m2. It has a slim depth of just 22mm, meaning it can be installed very neatly against your wall, without ever looking as clunky as a traditional radiator does. It has an IP54 rating, meaning it can be installed in the bathroom or kitchen, as it’s shielded against any unintentional splashes of water.
The panel is made from top-quality FIR Coating, and the surface can reach temperatures of roughly 75-95˚C. This is only slightly warmer than a traditional radiator. Plus, it can be installed higher up the wall than a normal heater, which means it’s further out of reach, and less likely to be accidentally touched.
How Does Infrared Heating Work?
It works very similarly to the sun! However, instead of generating any nasty UV radiation, as the sun does, infrared heating only provides infrared beams. These are similar to those that your TV remote produces, so you know that it is completely safe.
These infrared waves reflect around your room, bouncing off of any objects and surfaces, and leaving them warmed. This is completely different to how normal heaters work, as they just heat the air surrounding them. This creates warm-air currents, where the hot air rises, cools, and falls again. This is both inefficient, and has a negative effect on your health. Convectional currents encourage dust circulation, mould growth, and cold spots. Infrared heaters do not do this, making them better for your health.
It’s not just about health and safety, however. Thanks to their unique way of warming your room, they are far more efficient than other heaters. Not only is this amazing for the environment, it’s also amazing for you. That’s because infrared heating can save you approximately 60% on your heating bills!

NXTGEN Features
The real headline features are the adaptive start and open window detection. With adaptive start enabled, your IR heater will work out how long it’ll take to warm your room up to the desired temperature, then automatically switch on to ensure that your room warms up at the right time. This is perfect for those frosty mornings!
The amazing automated temperature control means that your panel will do the hard work for you. Just set the desired temperature and this heater will switch on and off automatically in order to regulate your room temperature. Open window detection means that if your panel detects a sudden drop in temperature – around 1.5˚C in 3 minutes – it will switch off, as attempting to continue heating is extremely inefficient.
Easy to Install
These heaters are relatively straightforward to install. There’s no tricky electrical or plumbing work whatsoever, so you don’t even need to think about calling any technical help in. In fact, no assistance is needed at all, as it’s such an easy job to do. We supply a helpful stencil that shows you exactly where you have to drill the holes into the wall. Just do this, and put the screws in. Then, it’s as simple as mounting the panel onto the wall using the rear-mounted brackets.
It’s completely plug-and-play compatible, with a UK mains 3-pin plug, and two-metre long power cable included. It can also be suspended from the ceiling, or made to be portable using our infrared heater stands.

This panel comes with a extendable two-year warranty, such is our confidence in the product. We also provide a 14-day home trial period, during which you can replace or return the item. This is subject to a small 15% restocking fee, as this the panel will have been printed on.
