The 595×595 New York Skyline Splash Image NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 350W is a wonderful homage to the city that never sleeps with vibrant colours that will stand out beautifully against a plain wall.

This 350W heater can heat a moderately insulated space of around 5-6m².

For added customisation, you can select from one of three frame colours, white, black and silver. The silver adds a touch of sleekness that meshes well with the predominantly white background, but all three frames look amazing in the right room!

How Does IR Heating Work?

IR Heaters are a little different to the traditional convectional heaters you’re used to, but that difference comes with a number of fantastic benefits.

Convection heaters (the kind of heating your radiator uses) heat the air in the room in a cycle. IR Heaters release Infrared Radiation into the room, which is absorbed by the objects it hits. This safely agitates molecules in those objects, heating them up.

This is a perfectly natural process, one you experience whenever you step outside and feel the warmth of the sun on your face! IR Heaters don’t release harmful UV radiation like the sun does, so it’s as safe as any convectional heater.

With an integrated digital thermostat, you get precise control over the temperature of your room. The panel will do the hard work for you, switching itself on and off to adapt to changes in temperature and keep your room exactly as warm as you want it.

It’ll even detect when you’ve opened a window, switching itself off so as to not waste energy heating up a room you’re trying to cool.

Not only that, it also comes with fantastic quality of life additions, such as a seven-day timer and adaptive start so you can customise how your panel works to suit your routine.

Easy Installation

All these extra features must mean that you need to be a qualified electrician to get your panel up and running, but this is far from true. All you need is a drill! Everything else you need is included in the box, and all you need to get your panel functional is a plug socket.

All you have to do is drill through the holes on the stencil, and insert the wall plugs into the holes. Then you insert the screws into those wall plugs. Rest it into the screws using the two rear mounting brackets. Then all that’s left is to plug your panel into the mains. This should take no more than half an hour.

If you want to take your panel to the next level, you can hire an electrician to wire your panel directly into a wall- but this step is entirely optional.

Simple Maintenance

Even if it’s a simple matter to install, these panels must cost a fortune in time and money to maintain, right? Far from it! Once your panel is plugged in, that’s it. The lifespan of each heater can reach up to thirty years with minimal maintenance beyond a quick dust every now and then.
