The NXT Gen Of Heating

Due to the LOT20 legislation of 2018, we redesigned our Classic IR Panels with a built-in thermostat and remote control to create the NXT Gen range. They are also equipped with 4 new fancy settings.

With the Automated Temperature Control, the heater will turn on and off in order to maintain your chosen temperature. Use the 7-Day Timer to have the panel come on at desired times, having separate weekday and weekend settings.

The Adaptive Start is where the panel really shines. Calculating how early it will need to come on to heat up to a chosen temperature, your heater will turn on itself to reach this goal for a certain time. Finally, for maximum efficiency, your panel will turn off as soon as it senses a drop in temperature with the Open Window Detection.

The NXT Gen Remote

Can you control your heater with a remote? Or are you still fighting with thermostats for the perfect heat?

With each of our NXT Gen panels, you will receive a 135mm x 56mm x 18mm controller. Functioning exactly the same as a television remote, you can choose which features you use, save your ‘Favourite’ temperature and it can even read the current warmth of the room with its temperature gauge.

Fit with an LCD display and powered by 2 AAA batteries, you can easily pair the remote to a panel by ensuring the green rocker switch on the reverse is in the off position. Then, you can hold down the ‘Mode’ and ‘°C/°F’ simultaneously until you hear a beep.

The LED Indicator

On installing your panel, you will notice that they are installed with a blue LED light in the bottom right corner. It is no secret that the anatomy of our panels is sleek and simple, with each component being a necessary feature.

This light is installed as a plain indication if your panel is on or off. When it is shining, the panel will be emitting heat and when you cannot see it, the panel will be off – either as your choice or as the NXT Gen features are in play.

This simple addition is to avoid any confusion as to if the unit is functioning and is also convenient as you can tell from a distance.
