All of the Surya NXT Gen panels come with a built-in thermostat and a remote control which means they are all LOT 20 compliant, as introduced for 2018. This means you have automated control of the heater, straight out of the box!

The small remotes are very easy to navigate, self-explanatory and are simple in design so anyone can use them. Measured at 135mm x 56mm x 18mm, the remote control is powered by 2 x AAA batteries and is connected by flicking the green rocker switch on the back of the panel.

To give you further peace of mind, the remote comes with a 1 year warranty as standard.

What Is NXT Gen?

Taking the heating industry by storm, our IR panels are innovative and have intelligent technology.

With the Automated Temperature Control, your panel with switch on and off to maintain your chosen temperature for the room. They get even smarter with Open Window Detection wherein they will shut down as soon as a drop in temperature occurs in 3 minutes.

Panels have an Adaptive Start function wherein after you set your chosen temperature and the time you want the room to be at this heat, the panel calculate how long this will take and switch on early to achieve this.

The 7-Day Timer is the final function which allows you to set different on and off times for the weekdays and weekends.

The LED Indicator

You may have noticed the panels have a little blue light in the corner. It is highly important to take a look as it will give you an indication as to what your panel is doing at any given time.

If the blue light is shining, this means the heater is working to warm up your room as efficiently as possible!

If it has turned off, the panel has either turned itself off completely or is simply maintaining your current temperature and it would be inefficient to be actively heating the space.

In addition, by the panel turning off automatically, you will be saving money on electric bills. If you see no light, there will be no money coming out of your pocket!
