The NXT Gen Of Heating

With the Government passing new legislation on the manufacture of heaters, LOT20 has been put into place to ensure all radiators work to lower energy consumption. Here at Surya, we have welcomed our NXT Gen range which are compliant with these guidelines.

The Automated Temperature Control will turn the unit on and off to maintain a chosen temperature whilst you can select different time settings for weekdays and weekends.

Make use of the Open Window Detection for increase energy efficiency. Your panel will turn off if it detects a temperature drop in a 3-minute gap.

With Adaptive Start, the panel will wake up early and calculate how long it’ll take to reach a chosen temperature at a specified time to then work towards its goal.

Installing Your Panel

Many decide to install their panels onto a wall and, of course, have the luxury of mounting them higher up – like you would a picture.

Simply made of the FIR coating, aluminium brackets and frame, if wall mounting the panel ensure that it is 10cm from the edge of the wall and furniture is 30cm away. Next, drill the screws into the wall and hang the panel using the brackets on the reverse. To finish, plug it in and remember to unplug it when the panel is not in use.

If you would rather hang the unit, purchase a suspension kit and have the heater sit parallel to the ceiling. You could also have the flexibility of a portable heater by attaching panel stands onto the bottom.

Be Controlling

Each panel comes with a built-in thermostat and remote control, with an integrated room temperature sensor at the top. On the reverse of the panel, there is a green rocker switch that will toggle the remote on and off once 2 x AAA batteries are installed.

The plain and simple LCD display will show settings including current room temperature, if it is locked and mode settings. The nine buttons are also self-explanatory and easy to navigate. Working with radio frequency, you can control your panel comfortably up to 20m away from it and the remote will not need to be facing the unit directly to function.

For your convenience, it is also possible to pair one remote to multiple heaters.
