Get yourself a beautiful heater for your home. That’s right, this gorgeous image is also a brilliant infrared heating panel. The 595×1195 Foggy Peak NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 700W has a stunning image of a mountain peak surrounded by a swirl of fog.
The infrared heater measures around 595mm by 1195mm, and has a power output of 700 watts. This means it can warm a space that’s around 11-12m2. It measures approximately 22mm in depth, meaning it can be fitted rather flush against the wall. It comes with an IP54 rating, so it’s protected against any accidental splashes of water.
The panel’s surface is manufactured using FIR Coating, which is attractive and strong. It can reach a maximum surface temperature of roughly 75-95˚C, which is slightly warmer than a normal radiator. This wouldn’t be an issue, however, as it can be installed much higher up your wall than other types of heater can be.
What is IR Heating?
Infrared heating is a new way of heating your home that is much more efficient than other techniques. It is also much more sympathetic to the environment, and looks better than other heating methods.
It heats your room by scattering infrared beams around the room, which bounce off of objects, leaving them warmed. This is more efficient than a standard heater, which heat the air around them. IR heating can actually save you around 60% on your heating bills!
Normal radiators work by warming the air around them, which rises, cools, and falls again, creating a convectional current. This is less efficient, but it can also negatively affect your health. That’s because it causes dust circulation, mould growth and cold spots. An infrared heater doesn’t do this, so it can be seen as better for your health.
Infrared heating is completely safe – although it is radiation, it is one of the safe forms. It’s the same technology that TV remotes use, and that our bodies and the sun both produce. However, unlike the sun, there’s no dangerous UV radiation.

NXTGEN Features
You get automated temperature control with this panel, which means you can set your desired temperature, and the heater will automatically switch on and off in order to keep to this temperature.
Adaptive start though is where things get clever. When activated, your panel can calculate how long it takes to bring your room up to temperature at the time you want, and switch on early to ensure your room is just right when you need it. Finally, open window technology means your panel knows when the window has been opened, and will switch off to save energy. This is because it’s inefficient to try and heat a room that’s also being cooled. How clever is that?
Smart Appearance
With such a slim 22mm depth, it’s super simple to install these heaters extremely close against the wall. They can be installed further up on the wall than typical radiators can, as you don’t have to worry about the heat travelling to the ceiling. This means that it can complement your interior design, rather than disrupting it.
It has an absolutely lovely picture on it, too. The Foggy peak is a rather rugged looking photo, with a craggy mountain peak encircled with a swirl of thick fog. The sky behind it is grey and rather foreboding. It’s a fantastic way to disguise your heater as just a charming picture on the wall.

Simply use the drill template to drill into your wall, insert the wall plugs into the holes, and then place the screws inside the wall plugs. Finally, mount the panel by lining up the brackets with the protruding screws, pushing towards the wall, and then downwards to fix into place. |
