Treat your home to the beauty of the Arctic Lake, and you’ll be able to have a beautiful picture on your wall that also functions as a powerful heater. Infrared heating has many different advantages over other methods of heating your home, including central heating.
The panel’s surface is made from strong yet trendy FIR Coating materials, which can reach a maximum temperature of around 75-95˚C. This is the same as a standard radiator, but of course, these can be installed higher up on the wall. This means that they are unlikely to be accidentally touched. It comes with an IP54 rating, to protect it against splashes of water.
The panel measures approximately 595mm by 1195mm, with 700W of power usage. This can keep an area of roughly 11-12m2 warm. It measures just a thin 22mm in depth, meaning it can be fitted extremely neatly on the wall.
How Does IR Heating Work?
Infrared heating is a revolutionary way of heating your home that utilises a completely different technique compared to traditional radiators. It’s far more efficient, and can save you up to 60% on your heating bills! The way it does this is by heating the objects in the room, rather than just the air around it. As the surface area of the objects in the room is far less than the volume of air, it requires less energy to keep you warm.
A conventional heater heats the around it, which rises to the ceiling, cools, and falls again. These are convectional currents, which can have negative effects on your health. They can promote cold spots, mould growth, and dust circulation. This aggravates respiratory problems, whereas infrared heating is better for your health, as it does none of these.
An infrared heater fires infrared waves around the room, which bounce off the objects in the room, leaving them warmed. This is completely safe, as it uses the same kind of technology as TV remote controls! Plus, it’s the same heat provided that the sun emits, without any of the nasty UV radiation.

NXTGEN Features
The real headline features are the adaptive start and open window detection. With adaptive start enabled, your IR heater will work out how long it’ll take to warm your room up to the desired temperature, then automatically switch on to ensure that your room warms up at the right time. This is perfect for those frosty mornings!
The amazing automated temperature control means that your panel will do the hard work for you. Just set the desired temperature and this heater will switch on and off automatically in order to regulate your room temperature. Open window detection means that if your panel detects a sudden drop in temperature – around 1.5˚C in 3 minutes – it will switch off, as attempting to continue heating is extremely inefficient.
Gorgeous Appearance
These infrared panels are exceptionally slim, and so fit very closely against your wall. They can be installed further up on your wall than an awkward radiator, as you don’t need to concern yourself about the warm air rising to the ceiling. Simply use the drill template to drill into your wall, insert the wall plugs into the holes, and then place the screws inside the wall plugs. Finally, mount the panel by lining up the brackets with the protruding screws, pushing towards the wall, and then downwards to fix into place. |
