Recommended to mount on a wall, it will reach a maximum surface temperature of 115°C and will never steam up with condensation.

What Is Infrared Heating?

Infrared (IR) heating is a new and innovative way of heating your home. Unlike convector heaters, they use IR rays to provide warmth.

Infrared is a type of electromagnetic radiation and travels at the speed of light, as opposed to particles that move around. It is absolutely safe to use and is even the same type of heat emitted by the Sun, but without the harmful UV rays.

The way it works in theory is simple. All objects emit and absorb Infrared radiation. The more Infrared that is emitted, the hotter the object is.

Waves will beam out of the panel, bounce around the space and hit into objects. The objects will absorb the waves and re-emit them back out to repeat the process. The sensation of heat is similar to stepping outside from the shade into the sunlight.
