How Does IR Heating Work?

Forget everything you know about traditional convection heater. An IR Heater operates very differently to a radiator. Radiators heat water inside them, which in turn heats and circulates the air around them. This warms up objects that are near this circulating air.

This is very inefficient, because you’ll inevitably end up warming the same air over and over again as it follows the cycle of warming, rising, cooling and sinking.

IR heaters are so efficient because they heat objects directly through harmless infrared radiation, similar to how the sun warms you up- but without any harmful UV radiation to worry about. This also makes them very efficient

Easy Installation

This ease of use is apparent right from installation. Thanks to that sturdy build quality, anyone can install this panel right out of the box- no expert electrician is required!

All you have to do is drill through the holes on the stencil provided, and insert the wall plugs into the holes. Then you insert the screws into those wall plugs. Rest the panel into the screws using the two rear mounting brackets. Then all that’s left is to plug your panel into the mains.

Forget manual measuring and complicated maths, installing your new panels is a breeze! All in, each panel should take no longer than 30-40 minutes.

Firstly, with a seven-day timer you can adjust when your heater will turn on, adapted precisely to your schedule. Set the heater to turn on when you wake up, turn off when you head out for the day and turn on again when you are due back in. You’re able to take precise control!

Adaptive start means your panel will get to work shortly before it’s programmed to, making sure the room is the correct temperature at that time. It can even sense when you’ve opened a window and will switch itself off so you don’t accidentally waste money heating a room you’re trying to keep cool!
