As stunning as they are endless, the rolling dunes of a yellow desert are as plain as they can be without losing any of their aura, as a sea of dry, barren sand.
The orange colours extend on for miles, and seem like they go on for an eternity. Only the trail of the resourceful desert animals break up the sweeping curves of the dunes, in an otherwise desolate landscape.
The scorching heat isn’t quite what you’ll get from our panel heater though. Instead, you’ll get comfortable, dry infrared heat that you’ll feel the benefits of within a few minutes of flicking your panel on.
The surface of the heating panel itself is aluminium, and measures 595 x 595 x 22mm.
It connects to your 230V mains supply, and reaches temperatures of up to 115oC, though due to the heat dispersion of the aluminium, it remains safe to touch during operation.
It fires out 350W of infrared heat, making it perfect for small bedroom walls or landings. You can even personalise it by selecting a white, silver or black frame.
We’ll ship this item for free, and you can also browse our range of offers and discount codes for the chance to get even more money off this panel.
Our Range Of Image Infrared Panels
Our selection of image IR heating panels feature a range of beautiful and stunning images from around the world.
In contrast with the dryness of the sandy desert, our 600 x 600 Crashing Falls Printed IR Heating Panel has water in abundance. Small isolated islands of trees sit at the foot of a dominating waterfall.
It provides the same level of heat as our featured sand dunes panel, so it’s equal in terms of performance.
Our range of thermostats offer a greater level of control when paired with any of our panels. Our Plugin IR Heating Panel Temperature Control for example switches your panel on and off to maintain the temperature you set.
The Basics Of How Infrared Works
Infrared electric heating works in a completely different way to the heaters that we’re used to. Normal radiators work by heating the particles of air around them, which creates a convection current.
The main difference is that infrared waves heat objects instead of the air. This might be a difficult concept to imagine, but a good way of understanding is by remembering that this is the same type of heat emitted by the sun.
When the sun emits heat, the space between it and Earth remains cool – it’s only absorbed once it hits our planet, which then re-emits some of the heat back out.
Let’s now apply this to our panels, which work in exactly the same way – they emit infrared waves which are only absorbed once they hit something, after which they are re-emitted back out.
The only difference is that our panels will have a marginal impact on air temperature, due to the fact that there are particles in our air, whilst the space between our sun and the Earth is a vacuum, and contains no mass or air.
This type of heating carries a number of advantages with it too.
Energy Efficiency
As described above, IR electric panels heat objects and their surface area, rather than large volumes of space. It takes less energy to do this, as any given room will always have less combined surface area than it does volume.
The result is that our infrared panel heaters require less energy when compared to electric convection heaters, and could save you up to 60% off your heating bills.
Clean, Healthy Heating
One of the side effects of convection heaters is that the current circulates dust, germs and mites. This can cause problems for those that suffer from respiratory issues.
Not only that, but warm air carries moisture too, increasing the likelihood of dampness and mould on your walls.
Infrared heat is cleaner, as it doesn’t create the circulation of dust you get with normal radiators. Instead, you get a dry heat that doesn’t make you feel stuffy or humid.
Blending In With Your Decor
Radiators stick out because of how they look, and because they have to be out in the open. Their location is determined more often than not by piping, whilst furniture is often placed in ways to ensure that they don’t block the heat emitted by them.
Our electric infrared panels are flat and sleek, allowing you to print images on them. This means that they blend in with your decor, masking the fact that it’s a heater altogether.
As they can be mounted on walls and ceilings, you also have the freedom to place your furniture anywhere you like.
Order Protection
All our panels, with the exception of our custom image infrared panels, are covered by our 30 day home trial period, during which you’re eligible for a full refund or exchange if you’re not happy with anything.
Further down the line, you’re also covered by our 5 year replacement warranty.
