Included with every single one of our NXT Gen IR panels is a built-in thermostat and remote control. This factor means that they completely conform to the LOT20 regulations, and have 4 new fancy features.

With Automated Temperature Control, you can set a desired temperature and the panel will switch on and off to maintain it. Use the 7-Day Timer to set different temperatures for weekdays and weekends for toasty lie-ins!

The units get super intelligent with Adaptive Start. The panel will calculate how long it’ll take to reach a certain temperature and wake up early to do so for a certain time. Activate the Open Window Detection to have the panel turn off as soon as it detects a sudden drop in temperature.

NXT Gen Remote

Every NXT Gen panel will come with a remote controller so you can take charge of the new features.

Powered by 2 AAA batteries, it comes as a grey remote and is very small, at 135mm x 56mm x 18mm, to not take up too much space. It also has a built-in temperature gauge to read the current warmth of the space with a ±0.5°C accuracy. Due to this, we suggest that you keep the remote in the room with the panel in it, but not too close so that the temperature will read higher than what the space actually may be.

Pair the remote to the unit by ensuring the green rocker switch is in the off position and holding down the ‘MODE’ and ‘°C/°F’ buttons.

The Blue LED Indicator

When you install your panel, you will notice that it has a small blue LED light featured in the bottom right-hand corner. It is no secret that the anatomy of our IR panels is sleek and simple. With no moving parts, there are definitely no unnecessary additions.

The blue LED is there as a plain indicator if your panel is on or off. When it is shining, the panel will be emitting heat and when you cannot see it, the panel will have turned off. It is there to avoid any confusion as to whether the unit is functioning and is also convenient as you can tell from a distance.
