Each of our NXT Gen IR panels comes with an integrated thermostat and a remote. These additions allow for instant control straight out of the box and let you take charge of the new efficient features.

You can make use of the Automated Temperature Control, which regulates your chosen temperature by turning the panel on/off. With the 7-Day Timer, you can set separate times in which you want the panel to come on for weekdays and weekends.

The panel really shines with the Adaptive Start. With this, you can set a temperature you want the panel to be at a certain time and it will wake up early to achieve this. Finally, active the Open Window Detection to have the heater automatically turn off when it detects a drop in temperature.

The NXT Gen Remote

The new features aren’t the only intelligent feature of our panels. The controller may look simple with its grey 135mm x 56mm x 18mm shell and 9 self-explanatory buttons, but it also has some fab additions of its own.

Fit with an LCD display screen, the remote is powered by 2 AAA batteries and has the same functionality as a television remote. It has a temperature gauge installed into it so you can see the current and target temperatures.

To connect your panel and remote, ensure the green switch on the rear is in the off position and then simultaneously hold the ‘Mode’ and ‘°C/°F’ buttons until you hear a beep. You can also repeat this process to pair the same remote with multiple heaters.

Where Should It Go?

With a number of ways to use your unit, you are free to install it in multiple ways to achieve many different, space-conserving looks.

The most popular choice is to affix the panel to a wall. Using the template provided, simply drill the screws into the wall and then hang the panel from them using the cross-hair bolt insertion holes. The process is similar to how you would hang a canvas or picture and will not require any professional help.

To have your heater hang from the ceiling, purchase a Suspension Kit and be sure to allow for airflow between the two surfaces. Or if you happen to be a little indecisive, let it float around with you on a set of Panel Stands.
