How Do IR Panels Differ?

Traditional heaters- such as central boilers and most electric radiators- use convection heating. This method of heating involves warming air, which causes a cycle. Warm air rises to the top of the room, cool air sinks, so all the air in your room will eventually be exposed to the warmth.

IR heaters instead use a method known as radiant heating. Infrared Radiation is absorbed by objects and bodies, which warms them up and allows them to warm other objects up. This creates a very even spread of heat very quickly.

NXTGEN

NXTGEN panels automate a huge amount of the day-to-day running of your heaters, maximising their efficiency and minimising the risk of human error. This is thanks to the onboard digital thermostat.

This thermostat can passively check the current temperature against your target temperature (and will display both values on a handy screen on the included remote control) and will switch the panel on and off to reach that temperature and then maintain it.

You can program your heater to a 7-day schedule- with a different start time for each day of the weak, and your heater will be able to intelligently estimate the best time for it to begin heating your room in order to reach your desired temperature at your desired time. It really is that clever!
