The 595×1195 Santiago NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 700W from Mirrorstone is a 595mm x 1195mm x 22mm FIR Coating panel. Powered by 230v, this radiator would look great fitted to a wall.
It will reach a surface temperature in-between 75 – 95°C and heat an area of 11 – 12m². Protected by an IP54 rating, the panel can withstand splashes of water and requires 700 watts of power.

If you are unfamiliar with the process convection heaters use to warm up a room, you may be unaware that they only heat air which assists the movement of dust particles and unhealthy pathogens. IR heating, on the other hand, causes the molecules in objects to warm up and progressively stimulates the circulatory system.

Introducing The NXT Gen
With LOT20 regulations coming into play in 2018, we have upgraded our heaters to have four new features for you to play with.
The 7-Day Timer allows you to set separate on/off times for weekdays and weekends to start your days off warm. The Automated Temperature Control will turn the panel on and off to regulate a chosen temperature.
The Open Window Detection will automatically turn the panel off if it senses a temperature drop in 3 minutes to conserve energy efficiency. Adaptive Start, arguably the most innovative of the bunch, will wake the heater up early to ensure the room is warm by your chosen time and to a specific temperature.
Controlling Your Panel
Standard heaters, like convectors, will need to be turned on physically which gets you out of your blanket, away from your hot water bottle and is just an overall inconvenience. Wouldn’t it be so much easier if you could control your unit with a remote control?
Arriving with a little 135mm x 56mm x 18mm remote, simply pop in 2 x AAA batteries to power it up. To pair the panel and remote, flick on the green rocker switch on the rear of the panel. It is also possible to control multiple units with one control.
If that’s not enough, you will be covered with a 1-year warranty to give you peace of mind.
A Little Light
There will be a barely-noticeable blue LED indicator sat at the corner of the panel. This is so it is discreet enough to not take away from the image but will give you a clear indication that the panel is functioning and Infrared waves are radiating around your room.
If the light is off, you will find that the panel has turned itself off or is steady to maintain the current temperature with the Automated Temperature Control. This helps to increase efficiency as it would be completely ineffective and expensive to heat a room that doesn’t need it.
With the bonus of an LED light, this increases efficiency once again as they have a predicted lifespan of 20 years, require little energy and also do not absorb much heat.

Simply use the drill template to drill into your wall, insert the wall plugs into the holes, and then place the screws inside the wall plugs. Finally, mount the panel by lining up the brackets with the protruding screws, pushing towards the wall, and then downwards to fix into place. |
