Painted in 1890, Poppy Field by Vincent Van Gogh is one of seven different paintings featuring the vibrant red blooms created by the infamous artist during 1886 and 1890.
The 595×1195 Poppy Field NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 700W from Mirrorstone is a rectangular panel with an aluminium surface.
Sized at 595mm x 1195mm x 22mm, this panel has a surface temperature of 75 – 95° and an IP rating of 54. It will adequately heat a surface area of 11 – 12mm² with 700 watts from 230 volts.
About Infrared Heating
Infrared is a type of electromagnetic energy that travels, at the speed of light, in waves. A completely natural type of heat, this is the same kind of warmth we feel from the Sun – with the bonus of no UV rays which are extremely harmful.
It works by beaming out far infrared waves into the space that will bounce off of objects and people. Once hit, these targets will then absorb some of that heat and radiate it back out to then be repeated.
This opposes from convection currents which circulate hot air up to the top of the room whilst cold air sinks down. The basic main difference is that IR panels will heat the objects in a room instead of heating the air in a room.
So, why should you leave convection heating in the past?
IR heating saves a lot of money as they use less energy to heat and convert 98% of their energy into heat for wastage of just 2%. They are also zero maintenance as there use no moving parts to need servicing.

NXT Gen Features
Due to the introduction of the LOT20 law in 2018, our panels have been updated to use technologically advanced NXT Gen features.
With Automated Temperature Control, your panel will turn on and off to regulate a chosen temperature. Another automatic feature is the Adaptive Start which will cause the heater to wake up before you do and climb to a set temperature just in time for you to start your day warm.
The 7-Day Timer allows you to select different temperatures for weekends and weekdays. Whereas the Open Window Detection will turn the panel off when there is a drop in temperature in a 3 minute gap.
Install With Ease
The beauty of IR panels is that, unlike standard heaters, they can be installed up high – out of reach of children and to conserve ground space.
To mount the panel to the wall or solid ceiling, simply use the two aluminium ribs at the back and the steel screws that come with it.
Why not opt for the Suspension Kit For 600 x 600 Panel to hang the panel? Spread evenly and attached to each corner of the panel, it can be suspended from the ceiling to increase air flow. We would not recommend this for a fake ceiling.

The Little Blue Light
There will be a barely-there blue LED indicator at the corner of the panel. Despite it sitting discreetly hidden, it is important to note its purpose.
The light will be shining to give you a clear indication that it is functioning and working to keep bouncing rays of heat around your space. If the light is off, this is because it has turned off itself or is maintaining the current temperature with Automated Temperature Control. This increases efficiency as it is pointless to over-heat the room and saves you money on electricity bills.
With the added bonus of an LED light, this increases efficiency once again as they have a predicted lifespan of 20 years, require little energy and also do not absorb a lot of heat.

Simply use the drill template to drill into your wall, insert the wall plugs into the holes, and then place the screws inside the wall plugs. Finally, mount the panel by lining up the brackets with the protruding screws, pushing towards the wall, and then downwards to fix into place. |
