With the 595×1195 Cairngorms NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 700W, you get a cold chilly image that looks superb. You also get an excellent infrared panel heater that is incredible for your home. Infrared heating delivers many different advantages over traditional heating methods, such as central heating.
This Mirrorstone infrared heater measures approximately 595mm by 1195mm, and has a power output of 700W. This allows it to heat an area of around 11-12m2. It measures just 22mm in depth, so can fit ever so neatly against your wall, saving you valuable space. It comes with an IP54 rating, which means it’s protected against any accidental splashes of water.
The heater has a strong, attractive matt FIR Coating surface, which can reach a maximum temperature of around 75-95˚C. This is roughly the same as a normal radiator, although you’re less likely to burn yourself on an IR heater. That’s because they can be installed further up on the wall, away from any curious fingers.
What is IR Heating?
It’s a brand new method of heating your home that uses completely different methods to other heaters. It radiates infrared waves that bounce off of the objects in your room, leaving them warmed. Standard heaters rely on warming the air around them, which is a lot more inefficient. Infrared heaters create a thermal mass, which is where the objects stay warm for a while after the heater is turned off. Infrared heating can actually save you a massive 60% on your heating bills!
Infrared heating doesn’t promote convectional currents in your room. These are where the warmed air rises, cools, and falls again, requiring more heat. This means that you won’t get mould growth, dust circulation, and cold spots as you do with typical heaters. This makes infrared heating much better for your overall health.
Don’t worry about the new technology, as it’s completely harmless. In fact, it’s just a more concentrated form of the beams that your TV remote produces! Plus, infrared waves are how the sun heats the earth, and infrared heaters don’t provide the nasty UV radiation that the sun does!

The 7-day timer gives you further control by letting you set on/off times for the weekdays and weekends, making those lie-ins even better.

NXTGEN Features
This means you benefit from all sorts of new features, starting with automated temperature control. You simply set your temperature and the panel will maintain the warmth by switching on and off.
Where the panel automates things for you is with adaptive start. The panel works out how early it needs to switch on in order for your room to be at your desired temperature at the time you need it. This means you don’t need to guess – it does all the hard work for you!
Open window detection automatically shuts the heater off when there is a sudden drop in temperature, as attempting to heat a room with a cold draft is highly inefficient.
NXTGEN LED
With so many brilliant NXTGEN features on offer with your new heating panel, it could potentially be considered tricky to see just what it’s doing simply by giving it a quick glance. However, you have no need to fret, as we have made your lives so much more straightforward. With our fantastic blue LED light, you can just have a momentary look and know the exact status of the heater.
When the panel is on and providing heat, the LED will be illuminated. When the panel isn’t warming the room – it could be night time, or the desired temperature has already been reached, then the light will be switched off. It helps you to know when it’s on or off so you know exactly what it’s doing.

Simply use the drill template to drill into your wall, insert the wall plugs into the holes, and then place the screws inside the wall plugs. Finally, mount the panel by lining up the brackets with the protruding screws, pushing towards the wall, and then downwards to fix into place. |
