If you’d like to seriously improve your heating, then the best way to do it is with an infrared heater. Whether you’re substituting your old heating system, or supplementing what you already have, infrared heating has loads of different advantages. With this Mirrorstone panel, you’ll be getting an extremely eco-friendly method of heating your home.
This panel measures 595mm by 1195mm in size, with a 700W power output, meaning it can warm an area that’s around 11-12m2. It measures just a thin 22mm in depth, meaning it can be installed rather snugly against the wall. It comes with an IP54 rating, meaning it’s safe against accidental splashes of water.
The panel’s surface is made using strong, stylish FIR Coating, meaning it’s attractive and tough. It can reach a maximum surface temperature of roughly 75-95˚C, which is a little warmer than a typical radiator. This wouldn’t be a problem, however, as it can be installed much higher up your wall than other types of heater can be, saving you accidental burns, and freeing up space in your room.
What is Infrared Heating?
Infrared heating is a fairly new product to arrive in the UK, so it is totally justifiable if you don’t know much about it. It works in a completely different way to conventional heaters, which warm the air around the room rather than what you actually need to be heated. This makes infrared heating so much more efficient – they can save you around 60% on your heating bills, every month! They generate infrared waves, which bounce off the surfaces around your room, leaving them warmed.
IR heating doesn’t generate any convectional currents, as typical heaters do. These are where the warmed air rises to the ceiling, cools, and falls again, requiring even more heat. This can cause you some severe health issues. Problems such as dust circulation, mould growth, and cold spots are all triggered by this. This shows that infrared heaters are actually better for your health .
Infrared heating is, of course, 100% harmless. It sounds a little odd, but it’s just the same technology that common household objects use. Your TV remote uses it, the sun uses it, and our own bodies emit it, too!

The remote control can be paired with multiple heaters, to control them as a group. You get a brilliant 7-day timer that allows you to set on/off times on weekdays and weekends.

NXTGEN Features
For you, this means a whole new world of possibility and control. Automatic temperature control allows you to set a temperature, and your IR heater will then maintain it by switching on and off.
Taking things up a notch, they also come with adaptive start. This switches the panel on early to ensure that your room is up to the temperature you need it at the time you need it. It does this by calculating how long it will take to warm up your room, so you no longer need to guess!
Then, we have open window technology. When the panel detects a sudden drop in temperature as a result of an open window, it will switch off in order to save energy.
Easy to Install
You shouldn’t have any issues at all when it comes to installing these infrared panel heaters onto your wall. They’re extremely straightforward to fit onto your wall. You won’t need any outside help, and definitely no professional help, as there’s no hard work to do of any kind. To install them onto the wall, just use the guide that we provide with your panel.
It shows you the exact place where you have to drill the holes in the wall, so you only have to put the screws in the holes. Then, just mount the panel on the screws using the two brackets on the back.
The heaters are entirely plug-and-play compatible, supplied with a UK mains 3-pin plug, and a 2m power cable.

Simply use the drill template to drill into your wall, insert the wall plugs into the holes, and then place the screws inside the wall plugs. Finally, mount the panel by lining up the brackets with the protruding screws, pushing towards the wall, and then downwards to fix into place. |
