This might look cold, but it definitely won’t feel it! That’s right, although the 595×1195 Ice Caps NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 700W has a chilly looking image filled with snow, it’s also an infrared heater. IR heating gives you many different advantages over other types of heater, including central heating.
This panel measures 595mm by 1195mm in size, with a 700W power output – this means it can warm an area that’s around 11-12m2. It measures just 22mm in depth, meaning it can fit rather snugly against the wall. It comes with an IP54 rating, meaning it’s guarded against accidental splashes of water.
The panel’s surface is constructed from solid, stylish FIR Coating, meaning it’s attractive and strong. It can reach a maximum surface temperature of roughly 75-95˚C, which is slightly warmer than a typical radiator. This wouldn’t be an issue, however, as it can be installed much higher up your wall than other types of heater can be, saving you accidental burns, and space in your room.
Infrared Heating: What’s It All About?
Infrared heating is extremely efficient, as it dissipates its heat much differently to how a conventional radiator does. In fact, an infrared heater can actually help you to save 60% on your heating bills! It does this by heating the actual objects in the room, rather than just the air around the room. The infrared beams that it produces bounce off of the objects in the room, leaving them warmed.
A conventional heater, however, heats the air, which rises to the ceiling, cools, and falls again, creating a convectional current. In turn, this can promote dust circulation, mould growth, and cold spots, which is why infrared heating is better for your health.
Infrared heating is also completely safe, as scary as it sounds. It uses the same kind of technology as your TV remote control, and the heat it delivers is the same as the sun’s. However, infrared heating does not generate any of the harmful UV radiation like the sun does.

The NXTGEN
Completely Lot20 compliant, our NXTGEN heaters are very efficient. They have a 39% efficiency rating out of a possible 40%. They have automated temperature control, so they will regulate your room’s temperature to one that you have selected. You also get a 7-day timer, so you can set separate timers for both the weekdays and weekend, to suit your schedule.
Adaptive start means that your panel will switch on before the time you choose, so that the room is at the specified temperature at the specified time. Plus, you get open window detection, which means that if your room drops by 1.5˚c in three minutes, the panel will switch off, as continuing to try and heat the room would be inefficient. The NXTGEN Remote
Don’t worry about trying to get your head around these different NXTGEN features, as the remote control makes everything simple. It comes with an electronic thermostat, which makes it a lot easier to work out exactly how much power you should supply to your home.
It’s easy to adjust the temperature of your panel, and also to set different timers for different days. You can set the adaptive start from the remote, too, so you know you’re not wasting any energy. The remote can be paired with multiple heaters, so you can control them as a group. Finally, with the ability to turn your heating on and off without leaving your chair, you can finally join the future of technology.
The Magic Blue Light
What does that little blue LED light in the corner of the panel do? That button is important to knowing exactly what your heater is doing at any given time. With so many different NXTGEN features, it could be difficult to know what’s going on. If the light is lit, then you can rest assured, as the heater is warming your room efficiently. If the light is not on, then it’s either switched off completely, or it’s maintaining your current temperature, and there’s no need to actually be actively heating.
This is another helpful feature that the NXTGEN heaters deliver that helps you keep on top of your heater, and on top of your heating bills.

Simply use the drill template to drill into your wall, insert the wall plugs into the holes, and then place the screws inside the wall plugs. Finally, mount the panel by lining up the brackets with the protruding screws, pushing towards the wall, and then downwards to fix into place. |
