The 595×1195 Retro Gamer NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 700W from Mirrorstone Heating is perfect for a modern home, looking for a pop of colour.

Powered by 700W, this gaming-inspired panel is 595mm x 1195mm x 22mm and is completely plug-and-play. Built with a premium FIR Coating for reaching higher temperatures and an even distribution of heat, they can reach a surface temperature of 115°C.

We advise mounting the panel on the wall of a bedroom for some added flair. It is completely protected from dust and splashes of water with an IP54 rating.

How Does IR Heating Work?

Standard gas or electric convection radiators working by filling up with hot water and this then makes the air around it hot. This hot air then rises, making way for cool air which then heats up and rises again – falling when it cools. This process continues to create a convection current.

Infrared (IR) heating panels transmit heat by thermal radiation and emit electromagnetic waves. These rays bounce around the room and each time they hit something, the object will absorb some of that heat then re-emit it back into the space through conduction, convection or radiation.

IR heating is favoured as it means no energy is wasted on heating the air and you feel the rays directly on your skin. The feeling is akin to stepping out from the shade on a warm summer’s day.

With the introduction of LOT20, we redesigned our heating with 4 new amazing qualities for improved energy efficiency.

With the 7-Day Timer, you can set different on/off times for the weekdays and weekends. Furthermore, with the Automated Temperature Control you can select a temperature and the unit will turn on and off to maintain it.

The next two features are where the unit really shines. Using the Adaptive Start, you can set a goal time and temperature for the unit to wake up early and work its way up to. Open Window Detection automatically turns the heater off when there is a sudden drop in temperature.

The NXTGen Remote

When you purchase any of our innovative NXTGen panels, it will come with an integrated thermostat and a remote control. This is to ensure 100% compliance with the LOT20 legislations that came into effect as of 2018.

Powered by two AAA batteries, it is just 135mm x 56mm x 18mm and has a built-in receiver to read the temperature of the room at all times. You will also receive a sturdy white holder for the remote to mount onto the wall for safe-keeping.

This remote control comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty for your peace of mind. Our NXTGen IR Manual will give you all the information you need on using the remote.

Decorative Heating

Super thin in design, each panel is just 22mm in depth as not to protrude awkwardly from the wall and take up too much room. They can be installed up high on a wall, like a canvas would, and do not create any dead space like traditional heating would.
