If you wish for a luscious image of British countryside that can also heat your home, then the 595×1195 Welsh Valley NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 700W is a brilliant option. IR heating is far more efficient than other heating methods, and has many different advantages over them.
This heating panel measures 595mm by 1195mm, and, with a power output of 700W, can heat an area that’s approximately 11-12m2. With a slender depth of 22mm, this could easily fit against your wall with very little protrusion. It comes with an IP54 rating, which protects it against splashes of water.
The panel is constructed from fantastic FIR Coating materials, which are built to last and look amazing doing so. The surface temperature can reach approximately 75-95˚C, which is only slightly hotter than a normal radiator. As infrared heaters can be installed much higher up on the wall, they’re unlikely to be accidentally touched.
What is Infrared Heating?
Infrared heating is a ground-breaking way of warming your home that doesn’t depend on the old-fashioned techniques that typical heaters do. Rather than warming the surrounding air, infrared heaters use infrared rays to heat the surfaces in the room. This is far more efficient, using a lot less energy, and being able to save you around 60% on your heating bills!
Because they warm surfaces and objects, not the air, IR heaters don’t form warm-air currents. This is where the warm air rises, cools, and falls again, requiring reheating. This is inefficient, and also has a terrible effect on your health. That’s because these currents promote dust circulation, cold spots, and mould growth. As infrared heating doesn’t promote these, it is better for your health.
Infrared heating is also completely harmless. Despite them sounding scary, infrared rays are exactly what the sun uses to heat the earth. Although the sun provides nasty UV radiation, IR heating does not. It’s just the same technology as your TV remote, but on a larger scale, of course!

NXTGEN Features
Our NXTGEN heaters were designed to ensure full compliance with the Lot 20 legislation that is now in effect. Adaptive start is where things get really interesting. You set what time you want your heater to come on, and how warm you want the room to be. The panel will then work out how long it will take, and switch on early to make sure your room is as toasty as you need it!
Finally, open window detection automatically switches your panel off in the presence of an open window, as trying to heat a room with a draft coming in is highly inefficient. Also available is a 7-day timer, where you can set separate on/off times for the weekdays and weekends.
Simple Installation
These heaters are so easy to install, so you’ll have no troubles. You’ll actually be ready to go in just minutes! There’s no tricky electrical or plumbing work to be done, so you don’t need to contact any expert help. In fact, you shouldn’t need any assistance at all, as it’s really just a one-person job. Use the supplied template to guide you through the quick process. It shows you where to drill the two holes, and then you just need to put the screws in. Mount the panel onto the screws with the two rear-mounted brackets.
It comes with a UK mains 3-pin plug, and a 2-metre power cable for your convenience.

Simply use the drill template to drill into your wall, insert the wall plugs into the holes, and then place the screws inside the wall plugs. Finally, mount the panel by lining up the brackets with the protruding screws, pushing towards the wall, and then downwards to fix into place. |
